About Our Chapter
Since 1944, the Northern California Chapter of NECA has been committed to providing excellent service and the best possible representation of union electrical contractors throughout the region. For more than 80 years, we've delivered services at both the local and national level — representing member contractors across five regional chapters and nine counties throughout Northern California, in close partnership with IBEW locals across the region.
Through advocacy, education, research, and strategic partnerships, we represent your company on Capitol Hill and in Sacramento, provide the training and resources contractors need to stay ahead of an always-changing industry, and remain an integral part of the communities we serve.
HOW WE SERVE OUR MEMBERS
Labor Relations
We negotiate and administer agreements with IBEW locals across the region, so member contractors get fair, predictable terms without sitting at the table themselves.
Education
Industry-specific training in management, leadership, labor relations, technology, and safety — the resources contractors count on to make better business decisions.
Advocacy
We represent your company on Capitol Hill and in Sacramento, meeting year-round with elected officials on the regulatory and legislative issues that affect your business.
